Inspired by the tradition of Mummering common in Newfoundland, I took these photos while on my art residency in Fogo Island, Newfoundland. I asked the residents whom i had just met if i could go into their homes and disguise them in articles of clothing and objects I found in their homes. I continued this with some friends in SF and in Tennesee just before the pandemic hit.
