100 Days of Lockdown Art!
I started a daily drawing challenge when the Lockdown in SF began on March 17th. Someone told me about a daily prompt a local zine was hosting to inspire art and I decided to jump in. The prompts lasted only about two weeks though. I was loving the daily drawing plus I suddenly had lots of extra time at home on my hands so I kept going for 100 days! Each day I would put pen (or pencil) to paper and see what would come out and other times I had an idea in mind to illustrate. Sometimes I was really into it and other times I was just like “ok, let’s get this done!” Drawing was my first love in the arts and I was always drawing with my best friend across the street from like age 5-on and doodling on notebooks and papers throughout grammar, high school and collage! I will continue to do drawings as part of my “366 Days of Creativity-2020 Edition” along with other forms of creativity. Soon I plan to be making a book for my “100 days of Lockdown Art” Stay tuned!
